there's no place like home...
Nothing like having your daughter come home after a grueling semester and finals only to get the flu. Laura has been really sick today...ALL day! Because she rarely gets this sick, it's been pitiful and she seems rather clueless about how to deal with things. The silver lining? At lease she isn't still at school where she'd have to get down from the top bunk and run 2 doors down to the bathroom. She never would have made it! I'm sure tomorrow will be a better day. She sure can't take another one like this!

Oh my! I feel for her! But like you said, at least it didn't happen at school! I'm counting the days until Courtney gets home from Purdue. She has exams this week and will drive back with a friend on Friday morning. Now if this snow/wind/sleet etc...would just stop until they get home safely!!! I will be a wreck all day Friday! Love the blog!
Jackie...great to hear from you! Laura's better today, thankfully, but I just picked up Bethany from school. Here we go again! I hope Courtney makes it back safe and sound. Merry Christmas!
